A few test shots I took one day after I got my DSLR using the kitlens 18-55. Post process editing wasn't in my vocabulary at this time... don't even know how to use Photoshop, Lightroom... all I did was put some watermark and that's about it...

Kat sini kita nak citer sikit pasal kita punya hobi yang satu ni... the beginning of my photography journey...

Bought my first DSLR (Canon 60D) on the 21st of February 2011 fitted with an Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5 IS for a hefty price of RM3.4k. Siap beli dengan beg sandang Canon RM25. Petang tu terus snap2... lama dah mengidam nak ada DSLR ni... bertahun jugaklah... took a few test shots and was feeling proud of myself masa tu... dah rasa macam fotografer profesional..hehehe.. Bila dah lama2, start thinking of getting a telephoto zoom lense. Bila dah dapat green light dari wifey, on the 1st of March 2011 bought myself a Canon EF 75-300mm f/4 III USM for about RM880++ masa tu. Sekarang ni kat Shashinki harga dalam RM788. After a while, rasa macam tak puas hati so decided to get another telephoto zoom lense yang power sikit. Browse the web and finally caught my eyes on Tamron 18-270mm f/3.5 Di II VC. Harga dalam RM1.8k.. lama jugak nak pujuk wifey... last2, on the 17th March 2011 finally got it. Siap tambah speedlite Nissin Di622 Mk2. Pehhhhh... sedap tul lense tu. Bokeh mantap. Slowly I start to ignore my 75-300mm. Kesian... anywhere I go, I just bawa my 18-270.. kitlens 18-55mm jangan cakap lagi lah. langsung tak sentuh. Setakat ni dulu, InsyAllah ada masa sambung part 2 pulak and will post a few photograph that I took along the way...
